Thanks for all the help everyone!

I'll try out the drive later this week, and will also look out for that monitor again next weekend.

Disk drive

Hi everyone I picked up a Commodore VIC-1541 disk drive and set of paddles at a flea market today. I know absolutely nothing about using disk drives with a Vic 20 - is it possible to connect a 1541 drive to a Vic 20? The drive I got came with a lead for connecting to a C64. Would this be suitable, o...

Has anyone seen this on eBay? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=8171282956&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT I just realised that I had the exact same item in my pile of trade items, except that the box I have calls it "Quick Data Drive for the Commodore 64" - no ...

Oops, my vote for Gridrunner just pushed Omega Race into second place :)

Both are great games though - I just think that Jeff Minter did the best Vic games overall.

Ooops, forgot to include 3 more items for section 8 (Demos, Samplers & Non-Games), all of which I personally own:-

Commodore: Vic RS232C terminal type cart
Creative: Household Finance
UMI: Vi Term B

(I will trade these 3 for games I'm after btw)

I've done some research, using these 3 sources: 1. "The Best Software Guide: Vic 20 & Commodore 64 Games" by Tony Takoushi (1984, Pan Books) 2. "Introducing Vicsoft" catalogue (date unknown) 3. "Commodore Softpost" catalogue (Winter 1985). Having looked through thes...

Mat,

I thought that the DP Guide only covered game cartridges - utility and productivity carts always used to be excluded in the past (from the non-Atari VCS sections at least) - or is this changing for the next edition?

Frogger games

Hi everyone I recently acquired the cartridge Princess & Frog, a very nice Frogger clone. I was wondering if anyone could recommend any other good Frogger games for the Vic? It's the first Romox game I've ever owned (for any system) and I was a little surprised that it had a colour label showing...

Lots of boxed Vic 20 carts to sell or trade

Hi everyone Since I started collecting Vic 20 stuff a couple of years ago, I've acquired a lot of duplicates. At the moment I have all of the following boxed cartridges available (all include manual unless stated, condition of all these items varies, but most are pretty good): COMMODORE: Clowns, Cos...

Good to hear from you Mat.

Have you picked up any new Vic 20 trade items lately? We have that trade from Eurocon to complete. :) (I'm still interested in the Andes Attack tape of course)

hello everyone

Hi there I just joined the group (I've been reading the posts in this forum for a while now, but only just took the plunge and registered!) I started collecting Vic 20 stuff last year when I found a ton of Vic 20 items at a market here in the UK (I found 2 boxed machines, a dozen boxed carts, half a...
