I've been away from VIC things for a long time. I just set mine back up a few weeks ago and have been working to catch up with all the new software from the past couple of years.
All I can say is WOW. Wow, I said. I'll say it again: Wow. I am absolutely bowled over by the quality of all these new games and programs! Thanks very much to all you guys.

Hi, just visited your blog... nice. I don't qualify as an "Old Timer" yet; I'm in that 40-ish group, which is measured in years not waist size, right?
Funny, I keep coming back to my VIC 20, too. Even though I C128 gave back to me more by ways of learning, telecommunications, and playing, can't say I love it like I did with VIC.
But I am taking some excursions lately trying some of the "other" stuff, i.e., TI-99/4A. Always had a fond curiosity for that little machine. I figure, why not? Satisfy those past memories and ask myself, what if I invested myself in that one first? Interesting question, not certain I really want to explore it too deeply. I like how things turned out.
Welcome back.

Any technology distinguishable from magic is insufficiently advanced.
