There are three different types of VIC20 keytops, PET, Eurostile and the narrower kind that the C64 has.

EDIT:
And judging from the pictures at http://commodore64.se you have the last kind with the narrow helvetica type - same as C64. So it should be easier to find a replacement for this one than finding a replacement key for the other two older kinds.

Well, I do have a Vic with some missing keys so I could just send the "6" if needed, but I do believe you wanted the whole keyboard, right joshuadenmark? In that case, would it matter if the keyboard came from a C64 or if it was a different style than what was origionally in the Vic? My spares are all the type with the more yellow-colored function keys, as were used on the early Vic/C64. I should give the disclaimer that I haven't tested these, I'm just making sure the cosmetic condition is good.

I would be pleased to buy just the "6" key with the spring and the key-attachment pictured below (the right model/style)

Please let me know if you have any of these.

I have 2 VICs with missing keys, but both have the number 6. I think my keyboard is the same type but I will double check tonight. My complete keyboard is showing a little yellowing on the white lettering on the key tops (not too bad), and of course would cost more to ship than just one key. I also have a C128 that's complete but not working, so I may rob a Help key off of it for you (though I would like to fix it if I can). Will check as soon as I can!

I know this is going slow, I was able to get the VIC with bad keyboard out of the attic last night and removed from the VIC. I will check tonight to see if you have the same style as I do, and if so will start taking the keyboard apart. Looks like I can keep shipping pretty cheap if I keep weight at a minimum, so I'll probably plan on using a padded envelope.

Hi Joshuadenmark,
I'm sorry it's taken me almost a month (!) to get this done, but I have the 6 key removed from the keyboard and ready to do. I wanted to make sure that you still needed it before I packaged it, but I'll have it at work with me tomorrow where I can determine the weight and calculate the postage (you can have it for postage costs).
