Bo won Galaxzions, I'm guessing that's an early release of the game given the inlay. Chicken Challenge isn't IN Gamebase20, and I won it partly for that reason. Haven't seen a copy of it before, so it'll be preserved.
I'm afraid me and another unknown bidder did fight Mayhem on this.
I was on vacation using the ebay app and did not have the ability to see the bidder IDs.
Maybe we folks should post before battle and maybe have some gentlemanly rules.
1. First to see and bid should take the lead and try to win.
2. Others could standby and pool resources if unknown bidders drive out of range.
This should lower overall cost for collecting the missing items for GB20 and be better for all
One other thought is whether we should set a donation fund for completing the Vic collection like folks on mame do for circuit boards.
It could work as follows:
1. Pool donations
2. Agree targets
3. Divide up originals after Mayhem or others have archived them.
e.g. 5 people donate £20
We go after Game x and win it for £60
We archive Game x
The 5 bid for holding the original between them
Someone bids £70 to hold the original and pays £70 to kitty.
We now have £110 in donation kitty.
Just an idea to kick around to maximise the chance someone here wins regularly and that we Denial supporters win more often and the community also benefits.

I imagine a community donation system could get very messy; especially if people feel like they're just paying for games for other people to own.
Anyone who benefits from an online community should feel a responsibility to share anything of interest (either by dumping it themselves or lending it to someone like Mayhem) and anyone who doesn't feel that sense of duty will probably be a lot less keen on the idea of collective bidding; they'll probably think something along the lines of: "Oh great, I get to pay £90 for a game instead of £60 or I get to pay £20 for someone else to have the game".
I may be in. Just sometimes I'm buying for myself and sometimes I'm buying for GB20 (and usually selling on). Sometimes it's both as with Chicken Challenge (that one I am keeping for sure). At least it loads along with both Hi-Tech tapes, so I won't be fretting about wasting money there...

Hi guys - would it be possible to obtain copies of both Chicken Challenge + Brain Pain (along with scans) at some point (I think Johncl may have Brain Pain)? I have been trying to locate them for Paul Hope's son Toby (as he's been unable find his Dad's copies just yet).
Toby is still hoping to find Road Race to pass on to preserve, which came with a green inlay (I think that never sold in even double figures).
