Hi everyone.
I'm new here... I got my Vic20 when I was 11 yo...it was my first home computer and the first opportunity I had to play videogames at home.
I still have my computer, but I prefer to play with it through an emulator.
Well, I am a Apple iMac user, and I got two emulators. One is POWER20. Very well done, but it is shareware and let me use the Vic for only 10 minutes... moreover, it doesn't work with some cartridges.
I also got VICE, and it's PERFECT, in my opinion. It works with almost all the games I tried... but... there's a flaw. I can't redefine the keys to emulate the joystick, and even the emulator have a Joystick Menu where I can choose between KEY SET 1 and 2, they both seems doesn't work at all. I have no choice and I should use the numpad, but I hate it and I would like to set different keys...
...any clue?

I've never used VICE on a Mac, but in the Linux and Windows versions you can define the two keysets to use any keys you want.
You should be able to find it under Settings>Joystick settings>Config Keyset A (and B)

I know, 'cause I used the Win version before to get my Mac. But, too bad, in the Mac version there's no "config keyset A" option. Perhaps Mac Vice isn't complete yet. I hope they will release an update.
Otherwise I'll have just two options:
1. to use my real Vic
2. to install a Windows Emulator (or a Windows partition, since I've an Intel Mac) and then to use Vice on that...
Thank you anyway!
