Looks like they have a blue one, or at least one with a blue top.

I'd be tempted to get one and put one of Six's "READY." stickers in light-blue at the top-left corner

Well, if "Commodore" wanted to appeal to the legacy C= masses, they would have the option to buy a version with the C= graphics printed on its keycaps, the English pound, the left and up arrow, Pi symbol, etc. with a reasonable layout equivalent to VIC/C64/C16.

Now THAT would be cool.

Neat!! Are they usable on real keycaps? How does the adhesive hold out? Is it distracting for touch-typists, i.e., because of any lamination or different tactile feel?

I also heard of a keyboard hardware project claiming it can interface a legacy Commodore keyboard to a modern PC, for the ultimate in emulation. Anyone know if that is true? Anyone doing that for "real"?

The interface you've heard of is probably the Keyrah:

You have to rip the guts out of the machine to fit it though but if you have an old, broken Vic around it would certainly do the trick! :)

Yes. Yes. No. I quite like them. They're cheap so you could always grab a set to see for yourself. You can buy them here.

Pedro pointed out the Keyrah and there's also Jim Brain's C=Key. I got one of the former and it works as advertised although I almost never use it because my emulator's keymap was long ago committed to memory and I use a Stelladaptor for the joystick.
In the end it will be as if nothing ever happened.
