I just tried mine out today. It is great! The joystick navigated menu works fast and smooth, all the games I tried worked fine.
It is also tiny. For anyone that has seen the Ultimate Expander, it is even smaller than that. It actually fits flush with the rear of the case, it doesn't stick out at all...nice. Don't worry, it is still easily removed...though with 127 games available, you won't need to remove it very often!

I think it has a screw hole for mounting.CDN64 wrote:I just tried mine out today. It is great! The joystick navigated menu works fast and smooth, all the games I tried worked fine.

Why not put it into standard Vic-20 cart case?

I'm interested in testing the PAL version. How much work/test would it be?

Wow! Don't all rush in!
I can only give out one free Behr Bonz for PAL testing.
I will give it to the person who says he can:
- Make a list of 127 recommended games for the PAL version
- Test the images using his own VIC and memory expansion & report any defective images (I will purposely send you one or two defective images in the bunch to see if you can discriminate accurately)
- Test the prototype PAL Behr Bonz cart & report any defective games
- Retest if any faulty games was found.
Does that sound fair?

Finally tried mine out, it worked great.
And, it generated a lot of interest this weekend at the Midwest Gaming Classic. jcompton and I brought a VIC-20 and C-64 setup, with a Behr Bonz and MMC64 respectively, and our table in the "museum" area had way more interest than last year.
Nearly all of the 40 ECCC invitations we printed and left on the table were taken by interested people. I hope a bunch of them come out!

Bah! I knew I was missing something. I am always out of the loop on these things. Another event I missed. We need an "Events" sticky.MacbthPSW wrote:And, it generated a lot of interest this weekend at the Midwest Gaming Classic. jcompton and I brought a VIC-20 and C-64 setup, with a Behr Bonz and MMC64 respectively, and our table in the "museum" area had way more interest than last year.
