Again?!

Post by Jeff-20 »

Another week down. The support team emailed today saying 'everything looks fine to us'. I guess the down time was just my imagination. So, welcome back everyone.

Wiki is still down...

Just for those that are curious here is the final answer from the web host.

I am writing regarding your ticket # 4678395. I have checked the issue and corrected the config file. Now the ‘http://sleepingelephant.com/ipw-web/bul ... /index.php’ is working fine. Please check.

The question is why did they break the config file?

Oh well we have our Denial back! :)

Jeff,

I'll re-offer to host this. I work in a datacenter and have more than enough servers and bandwidth to host this. We would not ever be down a week if it were on one of my servers..

Jeff, good to see that you're back online... However, something more stable and more reliable is definately needed. Sounds like Dragos has the answer. :)

Jeff, in case you move Denial elsewhere, why not expand it to became a ROM repository too? I could be nice if there was a central database with downloadable .prg files, screenshots, description, author, year of release and so on.

Yes! I had hoped the Wiki would become something like that.
