Alien or Super Smash?

I have two different eBay auctions I'm watching for Vic-20 Games, and they're both exactly the same, except for one game, Both come with Avenger, Omega Race and Gorf, however one comes with Alien whereas the other has Super Smash. Any recommendations?

oooo, tough choice. Alien is more of a "classic VIC game". It has all the atmosphere of old games; however, I personally prefer Super Smash. It was the fourth game I ever owned, and worth hours of play. Its just breakout with plenty of variations. It might be a little boring for your taste.

I would recommend Alien to you over Super Smash today only because of the paddle control issues. Even if you have paddles, you might have to suffer "jitter" making the game far less enjoyable.

OK, thanks! I guess I'll go with Alien. I used to have good working paddles, but my brother and I were in a heated match of Warlords on the old atari and he smashed the button a little bit too hard....
