I bought an R36S handheld and I'm happy with it so far.
But the VIC20 emulator seems to have problems when a program tries to load additional data from .TAP files.
My favorite game from my youth was Skramble! by R.W. Stevens (Terminal Software),
I can only find it as a .TAP file and it loads additional data.
It would be cool to be able to play it on the handheld as well.
Is there a .prg version or a .D64 file of exactly this version?
(I know there are similar versions with a different spaceship design but I'm looking for exactly this version)

Would you care to provide the *.tap file? Doing a backup copy in a similar way as shown here is probably the best bet you get exactly that version you want as *.prg file.aitsch wrote:I can only find [Terminal Skramble!] as a .TAP file and it loads additional data. I did a single file version of this a while back (15 years ago apparently
), here: skramble.prg.
Never got around to uploading it anywhere and haven't tested it that much to be honest, but feel free to test it out.

Thanks Mike & tlr for your help.
I've tried tlr's .prg-file and it works well.
good job!

If anything, you just need to thank Daniel for his efforts.aitsch wrote:Thanks Mike & tlr for your help.
You could have made it possible for me to help if you had attached the *.tap file in the initial post from the start. If I had gone looking for it myself, what guarantee would I have had that it was exactly the file that was right for you?

I'm glad my version worked out for you!

For completeness, this is the one I used: skramble_rabbit_software.tap
