New Vic 20 game - Doodlebug
Hi everyone, another game developed with MPAGD (https://jonathan-cauldwell.itch.io/mult ... e-designer) has been released. You can find it at this address: https://kamaleon70.itch.io/doodlebug-vic-20 and can be downloaded to be used on emulator, real Vic 20 or can be also played directly on the browser in the itch.io page. As previously indicated MPAGD for vic 20 is still in beta, it will be released soon for everyone. Have fun

Hey kamaleon70, very nice game.
I want to try to make something like Burger time or another version of Pengo with MAGD.
Anyway great work.

@huffelduff We have opened beta testing for mpagd Vic 20 to limited audience (viewtopic.php?t=11165). I can send you dm to invite you to it if you are interested.
Re: New Vic 20 game - Doodlebug
The game looks interesting, but the screen is horribly mispaced on PAL. You should set the registers $9000 and $9001 only with relative values to the kernal-positions at $ede4 and $ede5. If you use fixed values the screen will look bad either on NTSC or PAL. The way it is the game would be unplayable on real PAL-screens.

@tokra Yes you are right, thanks for noticing, the version I uploaded works only on NTSC. It was supposed to autodetect the right video standard and adjust the position automatically but there is an issue on the Vic 20 port for MPAGD that made this not working (I forgot to test PAL before uploading). I will upload two different versions for PAL and NTSC to address the issue for now. and then I will update with the "universal" version when the bug will be fixed.
