Hi All,
I've been tinkering with using IDE65XX and Kick Assembler on my M2 Mac mini but decided to try out Reload64 as an alternative, as it looks like it could work better for Vic development.
The app hasn't been updated since 2016 so i had to exclude it from security restrictions before it would run but now it's coming up with a requester stating it's unable to load the Java runtime environment. I've checked my Java is pathed correctly, and it is, as I've been using Kick Assembler just fine with IDE65XX, and both those tools are Java apps. I've checked my version of Java and it's on 8, where Relaunch64 only needs 7+.
I've also made sure that I'm using the Java version for non-intel macs, so it can't be that.
Lastly I've also pulled down the source code but I know literally nothing about java and can't work out how on earth I could build the app on my machine, which I thought might resolve the issue.
Anyone else using a setup like mine who could help here?
Thanks.

Re: Relaunch64 on M2 Mac
Probably not the answer you're looking for, but I would advise looking for other tools. I did a little Googling and it seems you're not the first to have trouble with this. Given how stale the project is, the situation is unlikely to improve. You're probably better off with your favorite text editor and command line tools (including Kick Assembler).
