Below are three photos. The first one is a photo of the keyboard of my PET 4016. The second photo is the keyboard of what could be a VIC-20 with a PET style keyboard (notice the block shaped "Q"). The third photo is of the keyboard of a "regular" VIC-20.
Is the VIC-20 in the second photo a PET style keyboard VIC-20, or just a VIC-20 keyboard with a PET style "Q" among normal keys? The other keys look a little different than the keys in third photo, but not very "block" like the "Q" is.
PET 4016
PET style VIC-20?
Regular VIC-20
Any help in identifying the second photo VIC-20 is appreciated!
Thank you!
Joe

The middle photos is actually the Vic-20 "Euro" style keyboard.
I'm not sure of the exact reason they brought out this 'PET-like" font, but I'm sure someone more knowledgeable can explain.
Cheers,
Mike.

Ah! Thank you for that reply! Now I'm more comfortable listing it on ebay. I'm reducing my excess stock of repaired Commodore items one at a time. This VIC-20 is up next.
Cheers!

I'd love to hear the story behind the Eurostile font too. It seems to be the rarest of the 3, using data from the registry I reckon less than 10% of systems have it, about 23% have PET font and the rest Helvetica.

I thought the bottom photo was the Euro-style keyboard with the less square looking "Q". No?
