Adventureland XL

Post by ScottAdams »

Hi All,

This is Scott Adams from the classic adventure series and the Adventure International company.

I am currently working with a team to get Adventureland XL produced. It will be a 40th anniversary salute to the very first micro computer adventure game and will be for modern platforms.

To do this I really need your help! Please watch the following and then head over to the second link where we have a Patreon account setup. Thanks for your time!

Very interesting.

The only one of your games I have managed to complete is Voodoo Castle back in the mid 1990s.

Wow, great to see such a legend pop up on our humble board!

Thanks for all the great gaming and good luck with the new project.

Cheers,

I had several of these games from this series and adventure land was the first text adventure I ever owned. Scott Adams was seen as a legendary figure of the text adventure game back in the early 80s for myself. I would be interested in seeing a revival of these on modern platforms. :D

Yesss! Thank you so much for writing here Scott! I see it's not the first appearance :) .

Everyone: please, take a look at his new products, they're a great improvement over the old concept of text adventure games.

Hi All,

I am taking a break from working on Adventureland XL and I have been reading comments.

I am so happy to see folks have good memories of my classic game, many thanks for sharing them!

Happy Adventuring,

This reminds me that I must finish the original Adventureland. I started playing it on Vic a few years ago and got quite far but I never finished it. I still have the map so it should be easy to resume playing.
