Done in under 48 hours at the University of Bremen Jam Site. Bonus game Snake done in under one hour.

Description: EightBall is an interpreter and bytecode compiler for a novel structured programming language. It runs on a number of 6502-based vintage systems (C64, VIC20, Apple //e) and may also be compiled as a 32 bit Linux executable. The system also includes a simple line editor and the EightBall Virtual Machine, which runs the bytecode generated by the compiler.

There is a prebuilt disk-image for C64 and VIC20 and also full documentation for the project.

This is a free software project. Full source is available on GitHub.

The current version is v0.55. This project is still a work-in-progress.

controls: Joystick/awsd/ijkl for movement direction+fire button/shift keys to fire gun. Hit z to reload level.

Objective: Avoid zombies and get the key to escape each room. Find other survivors for extra lives. You have a gun to shoot zombies in your way but bullets can be hard to come by so don't waste them. Make your way to the roof where you can use the Channel Z Action News Chopper to escape and beat the game.

Description: A Space Invaders-like game with a reduced number of aliens that become extremely fast after a few waves.
How to play: Use joystick or keys Z and X to move a small cannon at the bottom of the screen. Shoot with fire or SPACE at aliens that progressively get nearer and nearer. Avoid lethal bombs. Toggle music on/off with M.
