Borderline BBS
Borderline BBS
After a few years of downtime, as of today, Borderline BBS has returned as the world's only dial-up BBS running on a C64! So dust off your modem and give it a call! The new number is 1-951-652-1690. Running 24/7 at 2400 baud. It's a truly 80s telecommunications experience!

Any VIC-20 support?
(Somewhat related: is there a good PETSCII color terminal program for the VIC?)
Re: Borderline BBS
Borderline BBS is running All American BBS v11.6b software on a C64. No, there's no direct VIC-20 support, but the message bulletin section does have a Commodore Forum that's open for discussion on all Commodore computers.Serious wrote: What software are you running?

That's a good question! I'd also like to know the answer to this!Serious wrote:(Somewhat related: is there a good PETSCII color terminal program for the VIC?)
By the way, since I posted the original message in this thread, Telnet accessibility has been added to Borderline BBS. However, dial-up access *is* still available. This means that Borderline BBS is the very first "hybrid" BBS on a C64, allowing calls through dial-up *and* via Telnet.
So call today at 1-951-652-1690 *or* telnet://borderlinebbs.dyndns.org:6400
