Retrogathering 2011, Stockholm 24 september

Post by TBCVIC »

Retro Gathering is a general gaming and computing meet, ranging from the 1970's Pong to the early 1990's game consoles.

As well as exhibitions and demonstrations, there will be a lot of selling and swapping going on.

For more information, see the web site (in Swedish) as it gets updated:

I never heard of it.
What is it, exactly? It's also possible to buy stuff? There is Vic-20 stuff too?
But it could be a good opportunity to visit Stockholm next year... :D

Yes, a big part of Retrogathering is buying and selling stuff. Not sure about how much Vic-20 stuff though, though there's quite a few enthusiasts in the crew (myself and carlsson at least).

Yes it could...

I had a bunch of games for the Speccy that no-one wanted to buy. Not even for ~1€ a piece.

Yep, they got a nice little apartment.

I rent a one room apartment as a storage place. (We don't have any housing shortage here in the tiny town where I live)

But I don't have the time I'd like to have for using all my stuff.
When I moved the collection to the apartment I made sure I got room for a little gaming corner so I can have at least one machine up and running... Then I just switch around so some of the machines gets used.

But mainly my collection is a feast for the eyes... :(
