There are some people who put a C64 in a tower. Did anyone do this with a VIC-20 motherboard? To me it seems like the same task, other than the VIC maybe has even more use of internal (memory) expansion space.
However, it seems non-trivial to replace the VIC/64 keyboard with a PC style keyboard, or at least without some kind of interface or driver software. The IDE64 project sell an interface called PC-KEYB which is supposed to work, but there is no price tag.
