Coco3 HAD a 256 color mdoe planed, but it got "scraped"(Hidden) when it went into production. Well the guys at Coco3 com (Briza,Jason,PotatoHead,RG,And everyone else) found a way to do a near-256 colors pictures on the Coco by artifacting color pallets in a High-res graphics screen to produce the right color bursts and blend the right colors. Right now it's pretty dang cool, and was just recently figured out. Its nice, especially to scroll the screen now you had to do it half byte every time, so now you can do it whole-byte and it will save some CPU time for misc. stuff

Pretty cool, right?
Another cool thing is the newly made SID simulator for the Coco (All versions if I remember) Don't know who made it or much about it but it's supposed to be pretty neat.....
Well what have you guys got YOUR C64 to do that's Really awesome? I truthfully want to know ^_^
