Got lucky in Durham

Post by darkatx »

Hi,
I recently unearthed a Vic-20 after fixing my C-128 only to discover that the video chip was bad :(
So I went on kijiji for fun and stumbled across a seller in nearby Pickering who was offering the following:
  • Vic -20 with manual, cables and power supply (minus monitor cable)
    Monitor
    Cassette unit
loads of software on tape and cartridges (some even written by the seller himself!)
and a Vic-20 Reference Guide (in great shape)
He was a really cool guy. He really was knowledgeable about the Vic-20 and shared a lot of tips with me. He seemed a little sad to get rid of it but he was just wanted to ensure it had a good home to go to.
Lastly, I told him about the Denial page maybe he'll pop in and say hi :)
Learning all the time... :)

Gank his programs and post them here (if they're games). It's sad to see someone walk away from the VIC. I would have done my best to renew his interest in the hobby.
