G'day,
I don't know if this has been brought up by anyone yet but does anyone know much about the Commodore 64 GS (Games System). It came out in around 1989 (I think) and was basically a C64 console that only played carts and had no keyboard. I've never seen one on Aussie eBay and I don't think that they were ever sold in Australia (correct me if I'm wrong). I would LOVE one in my collection! can anyone add anything? Games, photos, info or ANYTHING?
Thanks, mates,
C2N.

There is some information on the Secret Weapons of Commodore (scroll down). That page suggests it was only released on a handful of markets, while I think it was introduced in more places than we remember it was. But yes, it basically is a C64 without keyboard.
Nowadays they tend to be worth quite a bit of money, in particular if they are boxed. Once in a while you might get lucky and find an unboxed C64GS without power supply on eBay for BuyItNow US$50. If you do, grab it before someone else does! *wink*

C64GS
G'day!
Quite a lot of money is an understatement! Recently, a bloke was selling a C64GS on Aussie eBay that ended up selling for AUS$430.31! That's some serious dosh for a retro system! I also saw an SX64 (portable C64) go for AUS$510.00!
Seeya, mates!
PS: I think that I can fit in a few more exclamation marks here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
