I've played many games from the Gamebase20 arsenal and I have to admit that several of them are "Stinkers". It's somewhat time consuming to power up, navigate the SDCard menu, select, load, and then play the game. All this work to find out that the game really isn't that good at all. Has anybody out there put together a list of really great games that are exciting and playable (Other than the typical cartridge games). Thanks.

Jeff Minter's games are great, but I'm also partial to the other Jeff. Not only are his games fun to play, they really show off what can be done with just BASIC. Aleksi Eeben put together some fun games as well, but if I remember correctly, most of his are PAL only (if that's an issue for you).

Not exactly GB20, but here's a small collection of games for the unexpanded VIC-20 I put together over the years.

Thanks for all your input. I'll have to check some of those games out.

Rescue at Rigel if you're into the longer games like I am. Similar to Temple of Apshai. Should be in the GB20. I can send you the PDF if needed since it's story-heavy.
