Re: Mega-Cart
Now that I've taken my VIC out of storage and set it up again, I have ordered a Mega-cart!
Re: Mega-Cart

How long does it take to receive the order confirmation via email after having placed the order ?

Re: Mega-Cart
It's been about three years since I ordered mine, but I think it took a few days, and then several months for a status update.majikeyric wrote:Hi,

Up to 12 weeks the site says, but I won't hold it against them if it takes twice as long.
I am a bit hungry for especially the memory expansion in it, though.

Re: Mega-Cart
Ordered mine 2 years ago. Nothing. I think the project is dead.
Commodore Pet 4032, Vic-20, 2 C64, 2 SX64, PAL 64c, 128DCR. Commodore Since 1980
Re: Mega-Cart
Hmm, then I should find another way of getting at least a memory expansion. Does anyone have suggestions where I might get one?craftsman1234 wrote:Ordered mine 2 years ago. Nothing. I think the project is dead.

No, project is not dead.
Just had a serious delay due to demands of day job.

Re: Mega-Cart
Not that I really know what I'm talking about
so don't flame me, but I was wondering how many carts are on back order and whether it would be worth getting some boards made in bulk in the far east? I think you can get fairly small runs now..
Injection molding is expensive, but the case could be 3d-printed.

Re: Mega-Cart
Hi is there a way to tell where I am on the list for orders?
Re: Mega-Cart
Is this project officially dead? The website is just empty now. I needed to reinstall SJLOAD on my Mega-Cart and luckily with archive.org and a little help from Google I found this link:
http://mega-cart.com/files/
At least this still works.
