Huh... wow... I never even saw the auction. Stupid eBay searches. I guess you went up to about $75 there Bo? Then again, I wouldn't bid anywhere near that price even if I had seen it...!

I saw the second one and noted the seller... wonder if Peter is selling off parts of his collection, or these are (shudder) just spares?!
I see a few Ultima games in the listings, but where is Mount Drash Ian? I couldn't see it there...

I don't think I've ever seen a cassette-based game selling for anywhere near this much before.

Well, that explains why I didn't find it... I was searching on "ultima mount drash" and not "ultima mt drash"
Will be interesting to see what this goes for. The first CIB copy on eBay went for $3,600 and the second went for $2,600.

Funny to think that at one of the World of Commodore shows in Toronto in the 1980s I held a copy of Mt. Drash (new in box) in my hand on blowout for $9.95 CAD. I didn't buy it - as I was just moving on to C64 and had no use for all the VIC-20 software the dealers were dumping at clearance prices.
I suppose it doesn't matter. Even if I had bought it I wouldn't have kept the box (at that time) and would probably have lost the tape an manual by the mid 1990s.
