I think the reason you can still find then NIB is probably because it is such a tedious boring game.
Stores must have had a very hard time selling this game.
Seriously.

I snagged it. I probably would've won the last one had I not fallen asleep. Oh well. The box on this one was pretty beat, but I'll take it.
I think I paid $85 for Cyclon back around 2010, and it was a really nice one. That's peanuts when you think about it. These games should probably go for a lot more.Mayhem wrote:Price has jumped a bit then, I paid $150 combined for both Boone releases sealed in the past.
I've played the game a bit, and it's not too bad. Not the most exciting game in the world, but it gets a lot more challenging as you play through it. Cyclon is much better. But honestly, how many stores even had these games? The quality of the game (or lack thereof) has nothing to do with it.eslapion wrote:I think the reason you can still find then NIB is probably because it is such a tedious boring game.

Most of this NIB stuff that has been popping up in Venezuela over the last several years is unsold stock from Musicland stores, but some of it (like the Atari and Avalon Hill stuff) came directly from the manufacturers. The sheer variety (and volume) of the stuff that has been found just goes to show you how hard the market crashed in '83-'84. Even if titles like the Boone games actually managed to reach the stores, they were DOA.
