I have no idea if you guys have seen this, but that guy is stupid. That PET could have been fixed (or used for parts) :(

Gee, why doesn't the RECORD button work (he notes earlier that there is no tape cassette in the recorder)... so he caves-in the button and complains. Stupid video, pointless, destructive, sorry I wasted my time. No love loss for the "wasted" machine, I just hope he disposes of it properly.

Yep. Reminds me... I have a cousin who got a 1541 that was out of alignment (go figure) and he used to get mad and slam his fist down on top of the drive, red light on, disk spinning and then wonder why his drive didn't work and why his disks were shot.

He wasn't messing around, either... he'd bring his fist down hard enough on the top of that drive to cause the front end to bounce off of the table!
