Not sure whether any of you have seen Jeff Minter blog about the history of gridrunner: http://stinkygoat.livejournal.com/170589.html
Somewhere in the blog there is also a great session about the MegaCart too:

Cool! Thanks for posting. An almost complete history (he fails to mention my awesome skills at this game). He does, however, mention Viznut in relation to the MegaCart. I never saw his 2600 demos.
My big brother and I would always argue over which was superior, the VIC or the Atari 2600. Looking at Viznut's Atari Demo is interesting and pushes the system further than I thought possible, but no where as good as Robotic Liberation. (and the Atari demo is 8k too!) Maybe it's not just programming, the VIC demo is just more entertaining.

When I was child and played his games, I never thought that in my life one day Jeff Minter will enjoy a my work...
I'm really honoured

I just read the blog entry and it took me back a bit so I dug out Gridrunner as I hadn't played it in a while. It really is an amazing game. It's just as great now as it was then. Remarkable stuff...
OT: I also just played Splatform for the first time on the Vic. You're right Carlsson. It is really is charming on our friendly computer.
