A complete set of Compute!'s Gazette (83 regular issues plus the special issues) in PDF form (~50MB per issue, approximately 4.5GB in total) is now available in alt.binaries.emulators.cbm. If you download any issues please spread them around to prevent parasites from trying to make some cash from this collection. Compute!, Commodore World, Ahoy! and lots of others to follow.
Have at them!
P.S. Sorry if you see this posting in multiple places. I figured I might as well do it otherwise some roboto would.
In the end it will be as if nothing ever happened.
Now if someone can collate all the issues with Vic20 programs in, reduce the size, put it somewhere easier to grab (webhosting or torrent) so I can take them for use in the GB20 project, let me know

You want the entire issues or just VIC-20 related articles or the articles with programs or what? Send me a PM with what you need specifically and I'll see what I can do for you.

I just require all the pages with all the Vic20 type-in programs. If I already have the game then it should give me some information to add to the entry. If I don't have the game I can add it and look to have it typed it down the lines.
Thanks for the taste, Golan. I just discovered that my ISP discontinued free Usenet access at the end of June because hardly anyone was using it. Bummer...
That's why I said "thanks": it's a common problem , also my ISP did the same thing, and now I hope that someone will eventually put other VIC-related (i.e., early) issues available for conventional download.

I think web-based free Usenet services like Google Groups have had a lot to do with it.
