I’m also OK with that
Cheers
UPDATE:
I'm happy to cover the UK, and probably Channel Islands/IoM (but probably not the Republic Of Ireland). I did a quick quote on a couple of web sites and got varying prices (but I was guessing at the spec). Let me know the details and approx numbers.Jeff-20 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 13, 2023 3:50 pm So, here is my idea: if anyone wants to take the burden of distributiing in their continent, I can send you the exact files and specifications and help you research a printer in your area. Printing one book here is expensive ($35), but if you are willing to print 10 books, the price goes down to about $10 per book.

Thank you for double checking. These are exactly the same prices I was getting! I was told international shipping was out of date or "no longer correct"... with a long line behind me, I could only debate the issue for so long. They were quite aggressive (rude?) in asserting lower prices for international mail no longer exist. I haven't done a mass international mailing in a long time, so I respected their authority.tokra wrote: ↑Wed Jun 14, 2023 3:05 am Hmm, I checked the USPS-site and entered your dimensions. The the cheapest I could find was "First-Class Mail International" ($13.50 to Germany, $6.03 to Canada).
...
Finallly at the very bottom is the $13.50 option. Do not trust the post office people or even the website to point you to the cheapest option. You have to actively search for those. They always try to sell you their "priority"-options.
I think you have to use these special envelopes and not use self-packed packages, though. I remember back in the time of video-tape-trading with US-guys this was always the cheapest option as well.
Thanks for researching this! I still think local printing would be a good idea. I knew printing could be much cheaper elsewhere... China for example, could make a book that would cost almost nothing. I encourage anyone interested in doing so, to explore the options available in your area. My printing prices are a little highter because I went with some personal options (vegetable inks and recycled paper, etc.)
Thanks for your interest in the project. We are still trying to figure out how to deliver them at a reasonable cost. We may need to set up a Canadian distributor. I’ll update you soon.
Again, thanks for the update! I’m very curious to see how the condition of the less padded international bound books. Still hoping they just arrive at all.
