The more you post, the more excited I get. It's great to see real hardware being tested.

Re: Where to post new project code
Well, as most here experience at some point, external links goes dead, either by design or company/server/person closedown. My personal favourite is personal web sites and get them snapshot by the internet archive. Then they are there "forever"... Github seems to be ok, but I dont know ho...

Where to post new project code
I've finished up a project I've been working on and am curious where's the best place to post it? I can host it on GitHub as a Release, but they don't give you any download stats and I like knowing how many people use stuff. I could post it at CSDb, but I'm not sure they'd appreciate that. We need a...

Re: Need help with FFD2 (CHROUT)
Thank you for the tip. Stepping through FFD2 I found it is using $FA and I happen to use it too. So I adjusted my prg not to use FA and now it works!!!groepaz wrote:have you traced it to see if that is what actually happens? sounds like the problem is unrelated to ffd2

Need help with FFD2 (CHROUT)
Has anyone ever encountered a situation where sending a value to FFD2 results in the wrong value being sent and with that wrong value returning in the Accumulator? If I do a READST immediately afterwards it returns $00

WTB VIC-20 Keyboard
I need a VIC-20 keyboard, fully functioning with all keys. If you have a parts machine with such a keyboard, I'd be willing to buy that.
Also, I'd like to get a Megacart. Are those still available new?

Re: User port Internet
I've been meaning to start up a VIC 20 specific BBS with 22 column PETSCII screens. If I knew people would use it, I'd have more incentive! Altiworld BBS supports 22 character word wrap (or any width for that matter). You can do anything you want in 22 characters, IRC, subboards, etc. * altiworld.c...

Re: g – a multitasking OS for Ultimem/VICMIDI (WIP)
What all did you change in cc65g? cc65g appears to be very old and I need to use a newer version. Is the stuff in /libsrc/vic20g all that's different?

Re: g – an Ultimem OS/GUI under construction
What's really getting in the way of it all is cc65. Am missing: - smaller, more optimized code. Just peephole optimisations don't rock it. - banking support, so function calls across banks don't become tedious to make I think we all pine for smaller code from cc65. :) Banking support, however, is a...

Re: SuperCPU for the Vic-20
So the DB25 will basically be a breakout? It would be nice to have another joystick port, at least one USB host port, and the aforementioned PS/2 port. A breakout box to this would be perfect. BTW, will you be sourcing and selling cases for this? I think that'd be worth some extra $$$ to me so I do...
