Re: TheVic20 Project Carousel 1.5.0
In Classic Mode with Media Access you have the option to attach a cartridge image. I did not see any other way to potentially select an expansion for memory, so any VIC-20 expanded memory tapes/disks will fail to load accordingly without. Now I find myself actually looking for a CRT image of a VIC-1...

Wow, wasn't expecting this, Ghislain! Glad to see you are back! Just recently got a "THEVIC20" from the UK and itching to see if ROQ titles play nicely on it (or not).

Re: Which Gamebase20 games are worth playing
Rescue at Rigel if you're into the longer games like I am. Similar to Temple of Apshai. Should be in the GB20. I can send you the PDF if needed since it's story-heavy.

Re: Archived? COMM-DATA Computer House Programs on Tape
Thank you, Beamrider! Appreciate you taking the time to archive this game. Now to figure out how it's played without any instructions! :-) At first glance it seems like it might be pac-man related, but then after starting play, not. I noticed that you have to push up against the creatures to "d...

Re: Archived? COMM-DATA Computer House Programs on Tape
Thanks guys, work has been killing me but promise I'm sending the tap for Poltergeist off.
BTW, anyone know where can I get a T64 of Astro Command? Is it out there to share?
I am hesitant to play anything on my tape drive until I know it's been archived.

Re: Archived? COMM-DATA Computer House Programs on Tape
I think Astro Command is already out there, but I can't find the other one. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RIU5RHSf-oQ I can rip it to TAP files for you, if it can't be found on-line (no point posting your originals if it's already there). Awesome, thanks Beamrider. I can shoot you the package for...

Archived? COMM-DATA Computer House Programs on Tape
Hey guys, I picked these up at auction. Are these already in TAP format somewhere? I didn't see them listed anywhere. If not - who's the superstar here who'd like a crack at archiving them? Reward -- I'll give you the originals! :P Just like to see programs like these preserved. http://s32.postimg.o...

I voted C64 - though the VIC-20 is my first love where I cut my teeth.
Let's face it though, it's going to go to the Mattel Aquarius for sure.

The most deceptive / creative game cover art?
What game really stretches the truth when it comes to game cover art?
For my money I would say "Mine Madness" is the master of exaggeration:
YOUR NIGHTMARE COME TRUE!

Re: Tau Ceti
I tried these and there are a few spelling/grammar errors in this and the other text adventures (I would be happy to help with) but otherwise the games on the site play well enough and are interesting.

Re: Intellivision and ColecoVision flashbacks
I got the extra overlays in the mail today. Photo below. It comes in a bubble mailer with two sets of all games not covered by the FLashback version with the least number of games/overlays. In other words, you get a few duplicates if you have a Sam's Club or Dollar General version with extra games o...

Money Decisions II .tap?
Hi All, I have a hard copy of Money Decisions II in very nice condition and wondered if anyone has taken a dump of it yet. I searched around a few VIC utility sites and did not see it listed anywhere. I don't have the setup to create a good copy myself but would be willing to send it for copying to ...
