The Quest of Merravid (text adventure)

Hi there. In hope that someone may find it interesting, I converted The Quest of Merravid, a text adventure originally for the 16K VIC and the C64, to a single-filed 24K RAM game in 40 columns.
I tested it and amended the solution found in the Classic Adventure Solution Archive, as it contained some errors.

The story is simple and the game is fun for beginners (see this game review in Issue 3 of Microadventurer).

Have fun! Download it here.

SOME NOTES:
To move: GO N, GO S, GO E, GO W, CLIMB UP, CLIMB DOWN
Inventory: INV
Look location: L
Examine: LOOK object

:D You're welcome. I'm afraid people will get tired of all this green on black sooner or later... Anyway, this one's not a bad title at all.

Hi there, I tried to download the current file and it works. Try clicking on "Fai click qui per scaricare l'allegato", then Save file as... on your hard disk, and finally open it.
If you can't, I'm sorry, but I have no other sites for file upload. As an alternative, you could PM me your mail, and I'll send the file as an attachement.

Download works -

Hi

Thanks for your reply - I went to the website and then downloaded the file and it works - for me there seems to be a problem with Firefox 3.5 downloading a file directly

I used this URL
http://sites.google.com/a/vic20.it/files/index/orion70

and selected the file.

Thanks alot, Tarka
