Just had time to do a longer playing-session (about 2-3 hours). Trading between Isinor and Ensoreus (thanks Mike) I easily got the money for the docking computers, military lasers and more. This really plays like or even better than the C64-version. I appreciate there was space for the Dodo-station and even the docking computers-music. Well done!

Aleksi didn't even bother to post the YT link here in Denial by himself.

It is also quite ashaming, that the YT video already has more commentary posts than this thread here. Perhaps, if people wouldn't believe all that Wikipedia bullshit about the VIC-20's 'missing' graphics capabilities ...

...more in that regard would happen here in Denial.

The community spirit of Denial once had made projects like Mega-Cart possible. In particular that means that not always the same people should need, or be expected, to put their time and resources into such projects!
Mike I've selected some of your commentary (removing graphics technical details) in an attempt to correctly capture what you're saying about the community here. Hopefully I haven't changed the vibe by mistake.

My interpretation is that you are saying Denial has changed for the worse over the years and the community collaboration is not as focused on inspiring projects or maybe Denial is not as central a place for VIC-20 project discussion as it once was.

VIC-20 Elite appears to be an accomplishment that demonstrates both technical competence and dedication to the work to reach completion but doesn't apparently involve deep connections to the Denial community in the way you would have liked and remember from the past.

Is this how you feel?

If so, why do you think that is and what might be done to improve it?

Note - I considered splitting this into a new topic but I'm aware this may a "nothingburger"; simply be a misunderstanding on my part. I'm a newbie here so apologies if this is all wrong.
