Thanks for the explanation, Ghislain.

I'll definitely buy it

Having a multi-cart, I think I'll play only the 32K version...

ASAP, please...

Thanks to you for this effort, which I'm sure will achieve the commercial success it deserves.

The graphics look really cool. Its surprising that the vic-20/8bit system can
generate good graphics with the additional memory....
Keep up the good work.

Today I worked on the following things:
1. Polishing and making VICFALL 2 run faster (which will be on side 2). If anyone's interested in seeing this game, they can download it here:
http://www.usaupload.net/d/glap6ih05a6
So the game was started in 1996, finally finished in 2006 and then modified again in 2009! 13 years of dev history
2. Making the multi-loading files on side 2 appear better. Rather than showing something like:
LOAD"FILE2",8
SEARCHING FOR FILE2
LOADING
READY
RUN
... when loading to another part of the game, these type of disk system messages will no longer appear on the screen. I did this so that the presentation in the final product will look as professional as possible.
Another thing that is cool about side 2 is that if you boot it but you have expansion memory installed, the software will automatically disable it and reset your VIC-20 into unexpanded mode. Just a nice feature to make it more user-friendly.
I also modified VICSIDE BOXING's sound effects a few days ago as well.

While I'm waiting for Psytronik to publish this game, I'm tweaking the presentation on Side 2.
I've always wanted to create splash screens for a lot of my games, so I thought that I would create one for MONKEY KONG:

Fully 3-D RPG game for 32K VIC, plus a lot of other games, most with introductory splash screens... Things are getting so professional here...
Congrats on the splash screen graphics! Can't wait to buy my copy of your product.

I'd like to buy Realms of Quest as well when it's released so please announce its availability on this thread when the time comes. Thanks!

Thanks! There's an old expression that is called "Finish like a pro" (FLAP). Basically it means that if there is spare time left to continue working on a project, you do that little bit of extra work to make it look even better.

Here is VICFALL 2:
All of these hi-res screenshots can be displayed on an unexpanded VIC-20 thanks to my compression algorithm.

Hi guys,
Just a quickie to let you know I've done a lot of work on the Realms of Quest artwork and manual today which means the game is now very nearly ready for release! I'm just waiting for the final disk masters in fact.
Kenz.
P.S. The printed 36 page manual looks really great!
