I have outlined my experiences and techniques for removing yellowing here:

There are also pictures of the process being done on a VIC-20 case.

I did look at this but the cost of a plastic tub,uv lamp( no sun in England ) and retrobrite was a bit to expensive for what I wanted for one Vic20 case.
Thanks again for the link

You don't need the UV lamp, but if you don't have one keep the container somewhere warm (do you have an airing cupboard?) and be prepared to wait a few days, and it will change color eventually.

I did do some case brightening using H2O2 and good old Aussie sun. The results were mixed. I tried a VIC case and it worked brilliantly. It was all back to its original glory and looked great. However, the Breadbin 64 I tried failed miserably and left everything splotchy and all. The same happened to a C64C. I acknowledge that at least the Breadbin 64 was a bad idea but the 64C should have worked. Fast forward 6 years, the VIC is just as yellow as it was before the treatment. It may be a great idea if you plan to sell one but for a keeper, a can of spray paint is a better idea IMHO.
