Sharing your vic programs with someone with no vic-20 and no emulator.
I don't know if this is legal, but it works....
1. Make a new directory.
2. From the VICE directory, copy xvic.exe and the whole VIC20 subdirectory into your new directory.
3. Copy the program you want to share to the directory.
4. Make a .bat file that only contains this line:
xvic yourprogram.prg
5. Double click it to test. Open the vice prefs and set it to the appropreate for your program and save. You can also change the properties for the bat file, to for example just open a dos window instead of a screen.
6. Zip the new directory together, give it to your friend and tell him to start the bat file. The whole zip file becomes about 450kb.
So, the files in your directory should be:
Start.bat
yourprogram.prg
xvic.exe
VIC20/ (subdirectory with it's contents)
vice.ini (if you saved any prefs)
If you want to share more programs, you could make one bat file for every program.
But as I said, I don't know if it is legal to distribute vice in this way... So read the copyright license! I think it talks mostly about altering VICE itself. Maybe someone could spread some light on the matter..?

You'll need to include at least a physical copy of the GNU GPL. The GNU GPL demands the access to the source code, so you should mention, too, that:
- the complete VICE (and its source code) can be found at www.viceteam.org
- you were responsible for this stripped down version of VICE
I'd rather include a complete copy of VICE, btw. Every other (removable) storage media after a 3 1/2 inch floppy disc has enough capacity.
