SuperPET 9000

Post by rhurst »

FYI, never knew one existed. Probably too specialized and not worth the expense and effort to dump its ROMs and make available in emulation.
Any technology distinguishable from magic is insufficiently advanced.

If it's the same as the regular SuperPET the ROMs have been dumped and are available from zimmers.net. SuperPET emulation is included in the PET emulator in VICE, although VICE still doesn't emulate the 6809.

Without naming anyone in particular, I believe several collectors have those already. It reminds me I have some strange circuit boards that may belong to a SuperPET 9000 development environment. To me they are virtually worthless, to a collector they may be one of a kind. Eventually I will put them up for sale somewhere.. however probably not eBay.

That was the floor of my computer room about two years ago. They're really interesting computers and arguably one of Commodore's best. I highly recommend picking up one up if you have the opportunity.

What do you need? :)

I'm actually preparing a huge amount of stuff to list on eBay this weekend. I'll be on a first name basis with the people at the post office before this month is out.

And my computer room ;-) I've been a happy customer many times... so much so that my wife has banned Golan from our house ;-) He now has to sneak in the secret bat-cave entrance

I think I need to show up with some flowers and a decent bottle of wine for you two to enjoy when I'm gone. :)

After a second look, it seems to be two SuperPET expansion boards for the 8032, plus two 64K RAM expansion boards for any (?) PET. All four were among the pile of "garbage" left behind, and were sold yesterday.
