20 line game contest

i know this topic has been dead for a while, but I have a couple of ideas for 20 line games. Instead of a competition with a deadline, mabey just a section for any 20 liners. Possibly a sticky in games forum to keep them all together. Anyone else interested?

Sure, sounds like a lot of fun, although I don't have any programs to offer yet.

20 line game

Ok, here is my first offering, just to get rid of the programming rust:-

Diamond Dash

Collect all the diamonds in the maze in the given time.

If you are successful, a fresh maze is generated and some time taken of the clock.

Unexpanded Vic, All basic


I hope this inspires some more contributions

Have you ever done a game that small? Your games are BASIC but they're kind of on the complex/elaborate side and don't seem BASIC-ish.
In the end it will be as if nothing ever happened.

Can you makes the letter used in the maze generation black? Or even turn off the screen? It would add to the mystique a bit!

I think I made two games for our last 20 line challenge :) Maybe I will make another one :)
PRG Starter - a VICE helper / Vic Software (Boray Gammon, SD2IEC music player, Vic Disk Menu, Tribbles, Mega Omega, How Many 8K etc.)

Yeah, I made "Egg Salad" for the last contest... all the old school members made programs! hahha... gotta dig up those threads.

Very nice. This makes the movement a bit less flickery... (copied from VICE)
