Amazing Maze is a proper cart. I have AMC as a cart, but I don't have the ability to dump Vic20 carts sadly! I'll be making a proper Vic20 inventory list of what I own hopefully soon.
I think even I have held Amazing Maze, or some other rare maze game in my hands, recently lended from a friend with a VIC in his closet.
Quackers is most likely a tape game (and has been featured on GOTW on this forum!). But there are other examples, like Alien Blitz and some other Tensor games which were released on both formats (either as 4K/unexp or 8K/+8K).
Either Café VIC is wrong (or outdated), or it was one of those games Jeff Minter wrote and sold to a publisher before starting up Llamasoft - unexpanded Basic game "Space Zap" was recently identified as a such title, and confirmed by Jeff on his own (?) forum that this was the case.
The only Llamasoft game I can think of not written by Jeff was the C64 version of Metagalactic Llamas; he was busy with Ancipital and got his mate Aaron Liddament to convert it.
If you include the PC conversion of Tempest 2000, then that's two...
DEFENDA was definately released as a Llamasoft game as I remember buying it back in 82 When Atari started throwing lawsuits around in 83, the name of the game was changed to ANDES ATTACK which is the same game but with a few graphic tweaks to avoid copyright infringement
SPACE ZAP was another Llamasoft game but was released as part of a 10-game pack which was sold by UK firm DK'Tronics in early 1982 before Llamasoft started marketing their own games direct to the public

I've got that tape here at home, a pressie from someone for converting some Vic20 tapes of theirs into TAPs
However I only could find 9 programs on the tape... bizarre. Maybe duplication was fucked on it.
I'll have a check on it tonight and report what other progs are supposedly on there...
