New Release: Mike's unexpanded type-in collection

Post by Mike »

Hi, y'all!

It's the right time of the year to make this a proper release... finally it's there - my very own collection of 21 games (mostly type-ins) for the unexpanded VIC-20! (download):

As Donald's 313 or the VW Beetle (where the German VC-20 got its name from), the VIC-20 keeps going and going... so have fun with this collection over the long winter evenings. :D

Merry Christmas in 2013!

Michael

P.S. I've also included a READ ME with game instructions, but this needs a +24K RAM expansion to run

Yet another bump for our newly arrived Denial members (see the start post for the download link). :)

The collection works out-of-the-box on TheVIC-20 - the boot sequence ensures a proper start-up regardless what kind of RAM expansion is 'plugged in'. To get access to the READ ME, renaming the file to "games_B1B2B3.d64" (+24K RAM) should do the job.

Anyone wants to break my high score in FRESSMANN, 129640 points?

Thanks for the bump. I'll be loading these up soon.

Any chance of getting the "source" so I can do the typing in? I quite enjoy that part LOL :D

Each game in the collection has publication info (book or magazine issue) listed in the READ ME.

Hi,

appropriate to the season, once again a bump for my Games collection (download: see start post!).

Test your skills keeping people save from aliens, batting balls, hitting dragons with boulders, exploring and mining other planets, flying through long mined tunnels, recreating dinosaurs, endure survival horror in a maze, hunting frogs, gardening and harvesting, aiming at celestial objects, traversing an asteroid field, patroling the Moon, playing a board game with a friend, being a pearl diver, controlling rockets at Strategic Command, shooting UFOs, playing Pixel Bondage (original and remastered), riding symbols, cleaning up a factory after closing time and finally, finding the hidden entrance to a cave with treasure chests, in a magic forest haunted by ghosts - and all that in one Game package!

Can you beat my high score in Froschfänger, 917 points?

Merry Xmas in 2024 to all Denial fellows!
