By the way, do you guys know this web site? It's C64, but still very interesting. I apologize if this is old news, but I just found out about it yesterday. In case you haven't heard it yet, look up "Great Giana Sisters" by Machinae Supremacy. It's pretty awesome, I think. Just a little ins...

Live play? At least there are some Basic piano programs that has that option. Otherwise, we could write one. Preferrably a fast one in machine code that has options for vibrato, arpeggio etc. When it comes to sequencing, the two most versatile around would be VIC-Tracker and perhaps Fisichella. Yea...

OK, I'm back. Quite hectic couple of weeks at work combined with my car being damaged by a basketball goal (can you believe that!?), and therefore having to deal with the insurance company, etc., etc. What did I miss? One suggestion how to go ahead with a project like this is that everyone cre...

Rork....if you start a music poll, make sure you make it diverse as possible. Yeah, that's what I was thinking, too. I didn't want to limit anybody. Therefore, I've decided to leave it descriptive and open-ended, so everybody can be as specific as they want to be. Anyways, you can find the "po...

I'm in of course. I can contribute both graphic art and music (electronic and real instruments). I have a home recording studio too. I'm in, too! If there's anything I can be useful for... :? Can't contribute graphics-wise and I don't have a studio, but I play the guitar, so perhaps... Incidentally...

Hey Tepic, I'm sure we could use a triangle! The sky is the limit! ;)

By the way, did you read my response to your cable question? Did you find it useful at all?

I'm still trying to start our electronic noise band  It's funny how my little Kramer in the picture stirred this whole music-related commotion. I think that's a great idea, Jeff. If there's any way I can contribute in, I'll be happy to do it. I play the guitar and hopefully will pick up ...

Rork, what game is that you're playing? Looks like the first level of Donkey Kong, but without the sloping girders. It's Crazy Kong I got from this site . I would hardly call it "playing the game," though. I don't know if it's me or the game, but the hero moves so slowly, I get him killed...

What do you use? I can buy the components next week :) I use the XM1541 cable I bought from these guys and an older PC (Pentium III). I've heard that newer computers can cause some trouble, but I haven't really verified that myself. Indeed, my laptop was acting up when I first tried it, but it migh...

I wish I could get these programs onto my Vic. I bought the cable but it doesn't seem to work with my drive. Which cable did you buy? Which floppy drive and what software are you using? What are the symptoms? I'm asking because I had problems with my cable in the beginning, but I finally made it wo...

nice to see the Pong game running on your revived Vic 20 ! One question: I noticed that the border color on the boot screen is quite green rather than "cyan"-- is that normal for NTSC machines? Well, I think that the colors on my VIC are a little messed up at the moment. I still haven't g...
