Re: VIC-20 modified Kernal

Hello Mike.

Thanks for the pointers :)

I guess there wasn't to much demand for different kernals on the vic-20.

Guess I'll try to make the kernal with the multiplication fix.

VIC-20 modified Kernal

Hello

I wonder if there are other kernal replacements for the VIC-20 other than the JiffyDOS kernal?

Re: [WTB] Two prong Euro mainboard connector

Hello

No, it is not one of them that has been put in.

I need one (or two if possible) like the first one.

[WTB] Two prong Euro mainboard connector

Hello I have an early VIC20 (ceramic VIC chip) with a two prong connector not anything like my other PET style with two prong connector. I believe someone has already changed it to a socket that is commonly used in barber machines etc. here in Europe. Does someone have a socket they want to sell? Re...

Re: Clear plastic cases for Cartridge boxes.

Hi Mike. Thanks for the reply. I can see that my post was abit unclear to understand. (English not my native language) What I'm looking for is a protective plastic box that I can put my paper cartidge box inside. (Hope that gave more meaning) I'm pretty sure I saw something like this somewhere, but ...

Clear plastic cases for Cartridge boxes.

Hello

I once saw someone selling clear plastic cases for the commodore Cartridge boxes.
Does anyone know if these are available somewhere?

TIA.

Re: EPROM Speed

Hi

Iโ€™m burning games eprom that I use on a few blank cartridges I have.

I have look up the specs, and it seems that
the eproms that does not work are 250ns rated.

All my 200ns and lower works.
So it seems that 200ns is the max I can use.

EPROM Speed

Hello I'm picking up my interest in the VIC-20, and I have burned out a few games to EPROMS. Most work great, but I see that some EPROMS I have (Various manufacturers) don't work with the VIC20. I wonder, does anyone know the max speed for an EPROM to be used successfully on the cartridge port? Rega...
