A major forum update is on the workbench, but currently I haven’t got the nerves to pull this of. It’s so easy to make a serious mess, but will let you know when
Kind regards, Peter.

Once again we are back - Chinamen is spamming our community (not only with corona virus). So visitors from China is blocked - and top 25 known IP's causing high voloume page search - chewing on bandwith.

Save what?

Edit: maybe that is related - I have just installed the new Edge browser and am running in troubles when I want to edit posts. The forum warns me "another user" is about to edit my post (?!?) and will execute the change only partly or on every second try.

Edit 2: next try after I deleted all board cookies in both Edge and IE ...

Edit 3: serious troubles with Edge. Refresh of pages doesn't seem to work properly, sometimes login looks like it wouldn't do - another refresh then tells you *have* logged in. I get old versions of pages after edits or even old versions of a post in the edit page, even though a preceding edit was visible.

-> Edge put on hold for the moment. At least for browsing Denial.

I have tried to update the forum software - but both FTP and SQL are way too slow (factor 100 compared to my Danish host) for me to get this done in a proper way. Perhaps its because I'm in Denmark and the server is in US - I really don't know :(

Edit:Are still struggling - but with no backup I don't dare to make any changes.
Kind regards, Peter.
