I would like to be able to capture the printer port output on my VIC. I'll take any method really - save to SD card, transmit to a serial port on a PC, etc. Anyone ever seen any way to do this?

VICE emulator has this feature - if you're looking for an easy way to print something without a printer, you may want to use the desired program in this emulator.

I'm trying to run my actual real hardware as much as possible, so I'm looking for a hardware solution.

I saw this guys product, but it appears to have been in development for quite some time, so it could be vaporware: retroprinter.com
