I wanted to convert Mickey The Bricky from TAP to PRG, but TAPclean doesn't seem to like it much.
Anyon willing to share a converted version?

Thanks, I tried wav-prg and got the same file as you. I thought I did something wrong as sys4100 jumped straight into gameplay. But your version does too, so all good.

The first part (the autostarting one) just sets some vectors and colors, then loads the second part and prints what it just loaded (it's at $1400 if you want to make a loader part for the game), then loads the last part and does "JMP $0351" which contains "JMP $1004" ie "SYS 4100". The text screen is shown only during the loading, cleared as soon as the game starts.

Micky The Bricky is a cool game. Seems very advanced for a 1984 title. Anyone feel up to the job of improving it? Animation on the barrels for example and a "trainer" would be great.

That comes because the game (also) checks for a pressed [RETURN] key to start the game. Unless you're really, *really* quick at releasing [RETURN] after entering SYS4100, you'll get the described effect.mrr19121970 wrote:I thought I did something wrong as sys4100 jumped straight into gameplay.
