I really hope this gets funded as it looks stunning. There have been lots of retro books recently and it is about time the VIC got it's own publication. Good luck with the campaign.

Thanks for the pledge. Yes the VIC really deserves some love, it's all about the 64 or the Spectrum...

Yeah, they are a bit different heh. I own both of those, and also Australian sleeves for Clowns and Star Battle. I also own a much different UK artwork for Radar Rat Race, it's like a proper painting with realistic looking mice, rats and cats. I'll see if I can take a shot of all three for you to have a look at out of interest :)

Is this book going to be hardcover or paperback? I haven't found this question asked or answered anywhere.

I've got the different artwork for Radar ratrace - it will be in the book as a double page poster. For that one I say "creepy".

It depends on the total of English + Italian copies. Most probably, the Italian version will be paperback and the English version will be Hardback, but I'm not 100% sure so I haven't specified it.
Do you think that this could be an issue? This is my first KS project, I don't want to promise features that I can't do, but I want to be 100% honest and transparent.

Some KS book projects offer a choice of both hard and soft cover ...

... but soft is fine if thats the best way to get the book made. At least in my opinion.

If you are interested I have contact with some ex-Commodore people including Michael Tomczyk and Albert Charpentier.

I'm already in touch with Michael Tomczyk, but I'd love to ask Al Charpentier if he'd like to contribute to the book.

Just do the best you can with the resources that are available. That's all we ask. If paperback is the best way for everyone to get a fair deal (including you), that's fine. Hardback would be great if it's economically viable but it's not the end of the world if it doesn't happen.

Don't promise anything unless you're 110% sure you can see it through. The KS community is notoriously unforgiving when it comes to broken promises.

I'm in. It looks about 25% to the goal so far. It would be cool to see this book funded :)

Added to the group :)
Hopefully this project will come to life. Optimistically, with 27 days to go, it will.

Do you know how many copies would make hardcover versions viable? If you do and the existing price is still adequate, you could make it a stretch goal.
