It works, but after 5 minutes it started smoking up, and i checked, its the PSU, 220v and we are 240 volts here, so we are ringing around to get a new PSU for it so we rang up this guy, we're talking to him now

Where is here? :)

Good luck in your search. Is it possible to rebuild the old PSU?

Put your location in your profile, and local Commodore users will be able to offer help. See how mine says Chicago? We've developed a very good scene here by being aware of one another.

Hopefully no one comes and steals yours while your not home since everyone knows your exact address now!

[hint] You might want to just put your approximate location instead of your whole address. [/hint]

I've measured 235 v here... I suspect that's the reason why old vic-20's get so hot is because of the raise from 220 v. I have run a 128D without any problems though.

I will get a new power cable for the 128D since the old power cable shorted out the PSU

hahaha. It's rare that I actually "laugh out loud"...

Nathan, for your own protection, I would just put the city and nation. You'll get private messages if someone is close and wants to meet/help you.
