I remember wanting this badly as a kid, but the adverts were inconclusive back then regarding a VIC-20 version. Some said it was available, later ones didn't include a VIC-20 version. Now I found this (ended) item on Ebay:

So it really WAS released. Does anyone here have this? Couldn't find it in GAMEBASE20.

Where is GB20? Is it a website?

No website sadly, don't have the time. It exists mostly as a set of supported torrent and download links within the thread here on Denial for the most part. Don't tell me you've not downloaded it yet?

No updates... there won't be another until probably towards the end of the year. Gives me two years between versions at least. Plenty time to get some stuff sorted and many more entries in the bank

Absolute necro-bump (sorry fellow mods) to ask if Jump Jet by Anirog has ever been archived for posterity. Was it included in further versions of the Gamebase? If so, where can I download it? Yes, Jump Jet made it into GB20, should in v0.3 that came out a few years back. Or attached to this reply requires +16K.

Thank you very much. I tried it in VICE (Linux flavor) with no luck. I get either a CPU jam, or the game hanging after the difficulty level selection. I'll try again in a windows environment tomorrow. In the meantime: anyone has instructions for it? If not, are the C64 ones usable for the VIC port? TIA.

Tried it in WinVICE; and it works like a charm . Thanks again: it's a little gem, with a complexity rarely seen in VIC games (not to mention "VIC-20 flight simulators", with a lot of quotation marks).

Would have to check GB20, I just uploaded the TAP I made, can't recall if I scanned the manual or not.

Some time ago I saved Jump Jet on disk and then edited it with Exomizer, now we have a RUNable version. Have fun with it!

Incidentally, I did the same thing with ACE from Cascade Games and removed the copy protection. Is also included in the archive.

Excellent job! Thanks so much for having one-filed them. Jump Jet, in particular, is really one of the most comprehensive and complex flight simulators for multiple platforms ever created, and surely the most complete for our beloved VIC. I created an Italian-only manual for it from the PDF found at the link I provided earlier in this thread. It can be found HERE. Enjoy fellow Italians! (Many more languages available)
