I did look at this but the cost of a plastic tub,uv lamp( no sun in England ) and retrobrite was a bit to expensive for what I wanted for one Vic20 case.

You don't need the UV lamp, but if you don't have one keep the container somewhere warm (do you have an airing cupboard?) and be prepared to wait a few days, and it will change color eventually.
