I think you should ask in the "Other Systems" section of Denial. You're talking about the dark side.

Now now... tut tut (though awaits the boot to the proper section).

The guy behind the 64HDD did make a multicart for the C64 some time back, I don't think he does any more as it was on a request by request basis. I got one with my own spec of games on it after helping supply a number of images and bug test the thing. I don't think he made more than a handful in the end. Just to clarify the multicart contained cartridge games, not tape or disk.

Adoreware says that he is working on one, the Extreme Cartridge 2. See the entire thread at

Yeah, Nick Coplin still has a description of his "EPROM Cartridge" (if that's the one to which you are referring) at his site at

MMC64 can be used as a "Mega-Cart" for the 64, if I recall.

Fotios has designed a relatively simple one. On the C128 Alive! forum, he wrote:

"I've recently posted off one of my FB-JumboCarts to Charles Gutman of 8-Bit Designs. It's very basic in comparison to the mega-cart. The version sent to Charles supports 63 x 8KB C64 cartidge ROM dumps and a simple menu. I also have another version that stores 63 x 16KB cartidges ROMs plus menu.

Hopefully, Charles will be able to show it off to some of you guys in the U.S."

That would be interesting. 126 games across 2 carts is nothing to sniff at and, honestly, does the C64 need the versatility of the Mega-Cart? For instance, who uses REU's on the C64? :)

Now *that* is interesting. Does Fotios know anything about Charles at all?!
